Boston Dynamics is best known for the development of a series of dynamic highly-mobile robots, one of which has been commercially available since 2019. Boston Dynamics have gone viral on numerous occasions with the real thing, and have broken new ground in the advancement of hydraulic humanoid robotics to make soldiers obsolete. These robots have already shown their potential for search and rescue operations, surveillance, and even carrying heavy loads. While the idea of robots replacing humans in the military might seem like something out of a science fiction movie, it is becoming more of a reality with each passing day. The benefits of using robots in military operations are clear, they do not get tired, they do not experience fear or pain, and they can be programmed to perform specific tasks with precision and accuracy.
