In my experience, MLMs require a lot of mental and emotional energy, as you need to constantly motivate yourself and have conversations with potential customers. This can be difficult because many MLM products can be easily found elsewhere, making it easier for people to back out of a sale. I tried Isagenix and I love the products, but my issue was that you had to constantly enroll new people to succeed. This was too much energy for me. I believe that there are easier ways to create a system that will generate leads, close sales, and require less effort. I look for four things when evaluating a new business model: is the field competitive, can I hire people to run daily operations, are the profit margins high, and can I travel. Another reason why MLMs aren't for me is that you need to find and retain talent, which can be difficult as the MLM industry attracts people with "shiny object syndrome." You also have to worry about keeping the motivation level up. In conclusion, I prefer a business model where I can set up virtual assistants and systems to run without me being there. I want my business to be predictable and require less of my time and energy. If you're interested in a similar type of business, feel free to contact me.
